Chester Bennington, vocalista do Linkin Park, foi encontrado morto nesta quinta-feira, aos 41 anos, com sinais de suicídio. Segundo o "TMZ", o cantor morreu por enforcamento em Los Angeles, na Califórnia. O corpo foi descoberto pouco antes das 9h (horário local).

Na tarde desta quinta-feira, cerca de 2 horas antes da divulgação da notícia, o Linkin Park lançou o clipe da música "Talk to myself", do último disco da banda, "One more light", lançado em maio deste ano. A banda emplacou vários hits no começo da década de 2000, como "In the end", "Numb" e "Crawling". 

O cantor lutava contra o vício em álcool e drogas, e já havia dado declarações de que considerou suicídio anteriormente por ter sido abusado sexualmente por um homem mais velho quando era criança.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington was found dead on Thursday at the age of 41 with signs of suicide. According to "TMZ," the singer died for hanging in Los Angeles, California. The body was discovered shortly before 9:00 AM (local time).

Linkin Park released the "Talk to myself" music video, from the band's latest album, "One More Light," released in May of this year, about 2 hours before the announcement. The band made several hits in the early 2000s, such as "In the End," "Numb," and "Crawling."

The singer was struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, and had already given statements that he previously considered suicide to have been sexually abused by an older man as a child.
